Developed and manufactured in Minden, Nevada, AVISOTECH construction was derived from years of composite engineering experience in the aerospace and defense industries, where materials and methods are used to create structures that are lightweight and strong, with ideal flex characteristics to withstand intense physical forces. This same technology was also used to design components for the competition sailboat racing industry, including an America’s Cup winner.
This expert knowledge in composites from the design and manufacturing team at Aviso Inc. provided the ability to create advanced techniques for surfboard and paddleboard construction, specifically hollow, carbon fiber or fiberglass designs, which we call ULTRALITE technology.
