TAHOE CUP – Change of venue!

 
 
Waterman’s Landing to host the ‘Waterman’s Paddle Jam’ – July 11, 2015

NORTH LAKE TAHOE – Carnelian Bay – The current lake level warrants a change in venue for the second race in the Tahoe Cup Paddle Racing Series.
 
The Waterman’s Landing, Carnelian Bay, will host the 6 mile ‘Waterman’s Paddle Jam’, the second event in the Tahoe Cup, a three event series that attracts hundreds of competitors of all ability levels from near and far, from the recreational paddler to elite SUP racer.
 
The race is open to all paddling craft and  participants of all ability levels.  The race will start at 9am at the Waterman’s Landing. Hundreds of participants, including world-renowned athletes and local paddlers will line up on the beach.
 
Spectators are welcome. The finish area, always a festive atmosphere, will include free demos following the race.  On-line registration is recommended.  Race day registration starts at 7:30am.

In addition, following the race, Waterman’s Landing will host the 5th Annual Keike Challenge, a free-to-participate standup and prone paddlboard race for kids1-7 and 8-11. Participants must provide their gear, including an approved PFD (Personal Floatation Device) and complete a liability release signed by a parent or guardian.
