Here is a photo of me competing in the Women’s open 6 mile during the Midwest Paddle Festival 2012 in WI last month. Nasty winds and chop made for a brutal finish time. My worst ever for 6 miles….. I typically finish 6 miles in 1:15 or so. Somehow I managed to pull out 1st place for the old ladies division! Even with the awful paddle form you see. For me, that day was more about not falling off and finishing the race.
I told Erich Richey how awesome the Stealth is and as you know, he is now the proud owner of one. I’m still loving the board and paddle 8-10 miles a day! Do these boards ever wear out. I’m thinking it’s time to upgrade! (LOL)
